Jack
Shreck kind of looks like Jesus (if the good Lord gained a lot of
weight). One might call Shreck Amazing Schlock's resident character
actor, but that wouldn't make much sense, seeing as how pretty much
every single person in the ASFF arsenal is a character actor. Yet
there's something about Shreck's furry charm that usually lands
him the roles of total weirdoes.
Shreck
wishes to become an actor/rock star, but he is somewhat burdened
by his crippling sloth. This has often caused him to be problematic.
He's easily seduced by the evil Maria Morales into complaining about
how long shooting is taking (we should note that Amazing Shlock's
average shooting day runs about four to five hours), and it has
often been nearly impossible to get him to show up on time. During
Hey, Stop Stabbing Me!, he moved and we totally lost track
of him, and his character had to be written out of the end of the
movie.
One
might assume we'd stop using him. But again, there's that furry
charm. We blame Maria for his bitching. And the new climax we had
to come up with for Stabbing turned out to be better than
the scripted version with his character in it. He also stepped in
when the music for Stabbing was in a slump and helped Sean
Hall come up with the movie's theme music.
He's been planning to move out
to LA to further pursue acting for the past two years.
