According to Matt, one of his greatest problems in life is that no one will believe that Matt Sell is his real name. We don't find his name that odd, but apparently this comes up a lot, so we'll set the record straight here - Matt Sell is his real name.

Matt is not what you'd call an "actor," really. He's not particularly good. Using Matt in a film is an art form that Worm, in his pompous glory, claims to have mastered. He must be used appropriately because his style of acting is very weird. It's hard to explain, and it's best seen.  But it's almost as though he were doing an impression of what he thinks other people do when they act.

Aside from being a great absurdist actor, Matt is also a great absurdist filmmaker. His bizarre and surreal short film Special Studies Film II can be seen at the opening of Hey, Stop Stabbing Me!. Matt's style can be described as a fascinating blend of faux incompetence and genuine incompetence (he accidentally shot the whole short film slightly in slow motion).
